		<description>Great post! A podiatrist can treat the condition by reducing the pressure on the side of the bump with padding, strapping or specific footwear advice. Orthotic devices can also be used to assist in control of the foot function which can relieve symptoms.

Long term solutions can include surgery as a last resort, and these are carried out by Podiatric Surgeons or Orthopaedic Surgeons.

If you have a bunion and it is causing you problems visit a podiatrist to see if they can help you.</description>
